“ I love taking my husband here and he loves the food whenever I go to Alabama I have to stop by and get 3 plates for my family in Alabama. ”
“ Food is delicious everytime I go. A medium plate can easily feed 2 people. Not a huge fan of the cabbage each time I I've tried it its bland and undercooked. I usually get extra rice in place of the cabbage. Fried chicken is very well seasoned, jerk turkey wings and jerk chicken well seasoned and cooked. Stew chicken is delicious as well. They just started making beef patties and those are delicious also. ”
“ Above and beyond Wavez is one of my husband’s favorite restaurant. So I decided to have them cater a small (7 person) surprise dinner I had for his birthday. I placed my order and provided a 50 deposit 13 days before the dinner. But when I arrived to the restaurant I was told there was a miscommunication with the chef and I was offered a refund. I let them know that was not an acceptable resolution because I had guest arriving within 1 hour. The owner came out personally to speak with me. After I explained the situation, he worked with me to determine acceptable substitutes for the items that were out of stock - providing more expensive replacement items at the lower cost. He also refunded my deposit to make up for the inconvenience. As always the food was delicious - plantains, cabbage, jerk chicken wings, and jerk turkey wings. Jerk turkey wings are my husband’s favorite and did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, they were every one’s favorite part of the dinner. My brother in law is a cook (BBQ) in south Georgia who doesn’t particularly like turkey and he loved Wavez jerk turkey wings. No one is perfect. Mistakes happen. How we handle those mistakes defines our character. Thank you, Wavez for going above and beyond to make things right. ”

“ So delicious! We had the jerk turkey wings and fried fish. Everything was good and fresh. I got a huge portion with my dinner serving of turkey wings which were fantastic. The rice and peas were tasty. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this spot. It was easy to find and worth the drive for GREAT Caribbean food. ”

“ Every time I come in I get the jerk turkey, white rice and oxtail gravy. Which is amazing. But today I went in and got white rice and oxtail. Best meat I've ever put in my mouth. Succulent, juicy the seasoning is on point. I definitely have been missing out. If you have never tried this place you absolutely have to try it there are so many different choices the food is absolutely to die for. You will not be disappointed ”
“ The young lady was so kind in her recommendations and her help. We were a long drive from home and decided to try a new place. This was worth it. I'm from Jamaica, raised by excellent cooks and this. Was. AMAZING! Even the kids were begging for more, they said "it taste like Grandma's". The only sad part is the hour long drive to get it again but it was WORTH IT! We had oxtails x2, fried crabs, peppered shrimp, and curried shrimp. Delicious 10/10 would recommend ”
